Gokyo Lake is a breathtaking high-altitude lake located in Nepal's Sagarmatha National Park, amidst the mighty Himalayas. It is a part of the Gokyo Lakes system, a series of six main lakes of which Gokyo Cho, also known as Dudh Pokhari, is the largest. At an altitude of 4,700 to 5,000 meters above sea level, these lakes are amongst the highest freshwater lake systems in the world.
