By Taxi: Taxis are a convenient although more expensive alternative to reach the palace. Just tell the driver “Gyeongbokgung Palace” (경복궁 in Korean).
Walking: If you're nearby, the Palace is within walking distance from other cultural attractions such as Cheonggyecheon Stream, and the neighborhoods of Insadong and Samcheong-dong.
Gyeongbokgung Palace is open from Wednesday to Monday, as it is closed on Tuesdays. Opening hours may vary by season, so please check in advance for the exact times during your visit.
For a richer experience, consider timing your visit with the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, which occurs at the Gwanghwamun gate, and check if free English tours are available on the day of your visit.
