Best Time to Visit Harnav River, Polo Forest, Gujarat

The Harnav River, which forms a picturesque backdrop to the Polo Forest in Gujarat, India, is a destination that truly comes alive during the monsoon season. Generally speaking, the best time to visit the Harnav River and Polo Forest is from July to September. During this period, the monsoon rains replenish the river and surrounding vegetation, creating a lush green canopy and a habitat bustling with wildlife. The river flows serenely, making it an ideal time for nature walks, bird watching, and photography. The temperature is moderate, and the freshly washed landscapes offer a revitalizing escape from the city life.

However, for those who prefer cooler weather and less moisture, the post-monsoon months of October and November can be considered a good time to visit as well. During these months, the water levels in the river are still adequate, and the forest retains its greenery. Mornings can be misty, adding a mystical charm to the forest. The overall climate is pleasant, not too warm during the day and slightly cooler at night, which is perfect for camping and exploring the forest without the trouble of heavy rainfall.
