Khinalug, also spelled Khinalig, is an ancient Caucasian village located high up in the mountains of Quba Rayon, Azerbaijan. Nestled at an elevation of around 2,350 meters above sea level, it's one of the country's highest and most isolated settlements. The village boasts a rich history that spans over a millennium, and its inhabitants, considered a separate ethnographic group, have their own language.
