Kunjaban Palace, known as the 'B N Palace' or 'Pushbanta Palace' is located in Agartala, the capital city of Tripura, India. The palace stands on a hill adorned by gardens and lush greenery, offering a panoramic view of southern Agartala. Built in 1917, during Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya’s reign, it served as a retreat for the royal family and notable guests. The unique blend of Mughal and contemporary architectural styles captivates visitors. The palace grounds are spread across 33 acres of well-maintained Mughal gardens, which add to its beauty. Kunjaban Palace has historical significance as it was here that Rabindranath Tagore spent time and composed several of his works. The palace complex is now partly open to the public, with a portion being used as the official residence of the Governor of Tripura. Damaged Structure
The structure is damaged. The guard who was there does not allow anybody to go inside. As such, it is not a tourist place and can be skipped.
