Best Time To Visit Lumbini Park (Hyderabad) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Lumbini Park, Hyderabad

The ideal time to visit Lumbini Park in Hyderabad is during the cooler months from October to February. During this period, the weather is pleasant, with temperatures ranging between 15°C to 29°C, which is comfortable for outdoor activities and sightseeing. The park is known for its lush greenery and scenic beauty, which can be best enjoyed when the harshness of the sun is at bay. Visitors can partake in the various attractions offered by the park, such as the musical fountain, the boat rides to the Buddha Statue, and the laser show in the evenings without the discomfort of excessive heat. Lumbini Park is particularly enchanting in the evenings as the cooler air and the illuminated surroundings create a lovely ambiance.

In contrast, the summer months from March to June can be extremely hot in Hyderabad, with temperatures soaring up to 40°C or above, making daytime visits to the park less enjoyable. The monsoon season, from June to September, brings with it heavy rain which might restrict outdoor activities and the use of park facilities. Thus, planning a trip during the dry and cooler months will ensure a more comfortable experience. It is also beneficial to visit the park on weekdays to avoid the crowds that throng to this popular destination during weekends. The park is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and the best time to witness the park's famous laser show is in the evening around 7:30 PM.
