The ideal time to visit Minicoy Island in Lakshadweep, India is during the dry season, which spans from October to May. During these months, the weather on the island is most favorable for tourism, featuring clear skies, moderate temperatures, and minimal rainfall. This period offers the best conditions for various activities such as snorkeling, diving, and exploring the island’s white sandy beaches. The temperature typically ranges from a comfortable 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F), which is perfect for enjoying the tropical climate without the discomfort of excessive heat or humidity.

Travelers should particularly consider the peak tourist season from December to April, when the sea is calm and crystal clear, providing excellent visibility for underwater activities. This is also the time when the island celebrates local festivals, providing a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of Minicoy.
