Moti Bagh Palace in Patiala, Punjab, is a magnificent example of architectural grandeur that stands as a testament to the rich history of the region. Constructed in the 1840s during the reign of Maharaja Narendra Singh, the sprawling garden and the palace complex reflect the splendor of the erstwhile royal family of Patiala. The palace is built in a fusion of Rajput and Mughal styles with an impressive collection of Rajput weaponry, royal garments, chandeliers, and mirrors. The 'Sheesh Mahal' or the palace of mirrors is a part of the complex, showcasing beautiful mirror-work and murals depicting various themes from Indian mythology. Moti Bagh Palace is also home to a museum, the Laxman Jhula, a suspension bridge over a lake, and a gigantic statue of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh.
