Mukteshwar Dham, located in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, India, is a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The town of Mukteshwar gets its name from this 350-year-old temple infamous for its legend that Lord Shiva granted immortality or 'Mukti' to a demon here.
