Best Time to Visit Nandalur in Kadapa (Cuddapah), Andhra Pradesh

The optimal time to visit Nandalur, a town in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, is during the cooler months, which run from November to February. During this period, the weather is pleasant and conducive for sightseeing, with average temperatures ranging between 15°C and 30°C. Tourists can comfortably explore the famous Soumyanatha Swamy temple and other historical sites without the harsh heat common in this region. The winter months are also ideal for participating in local festivals and enjoying traditional Andhra Pradesh cuisine, as well as partaking in the colourful 'Sankranti' festival celebrated with much grandeur in January.

Monsoon season, which typically lasts from June to September, brings moderate to heavy rainfall to Nandalur. While the rainfall transforms the landscape into a lush green environment, outdoor activities and temple visits can be hindered by persistent showers and wet conditions. Conversely, the summer months from March to May are torrid with temperatures soaring up to 40°C, making it less comfortable for tourists to explore the area extensively. Therefore, planning your trip during the cooler, drier months will ensure a more enjoyable experience exploring the cultural richness of Nandalur in Kadapa.
