Our Lady of Dolours Basilica, also known as Puthenpally, is the largest church in India and the third-tallest church in Asia, located in the heart of Thrissur, Kerala. Constructed in the Gothic style, it's famous for its soaring belfries, grandeur, and detailed carvings inside and outside. The church is renowned for its festivals and procession during the festive season, particularly Christmas and the annual feast which is celebrated with much pomp and splendor. The architecture of the basilica is a spectacular sight with imposing towers, double storeyed aisles, and eleven altars. The interior features intricate Gothic-style moldings, stained glass windows, and beautiful murals depicting scenes from the scriptures.
