The Roman Forum, also known by its Latin name Forum Romanum, is an ancient site consisting of ruins of several important government buildings at the center of the city of Rome. It was the main center of Roman public life for centuries, hosting triumphal processions, elections, public speeches, criminal trials, and commercial affairs.

The Roman Forum is situated in the small valley between the Palatine and Capitoline Hills in the center of Rome, Italy.
