Best Time To Visit Solomon's Pools (Bethlehem) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Solomon's Pools in Bethlehem

Visiting Solomon's Pools is particularly ideal during the spring months, which span from March to May. During this time, the weather in Bethlehem is pleasantly moderate with average temperatures that enable tourists to explore comfortably without the extreme heat that characterizes the summer months. Spring also marks the season where the surrounding gardens and landscapes begin to bloom, offering a vibrant backdrop and a refreshing atmosphere for your visit. Additionally, the spring period is less crowded as compared to the peak tourist season, providing a more tranquil experience at the ancient site.

Another recommended period for visiting Solomon's Pools is in the autumn, notably from September to November. Similar to spring, autumn provides a comfortable climate for exploration, with cool breezes and fewer visitors compared to the high season. This is the time when the hot summer begins to recede, allowing for enjoyable outdoor activities without the exhausting heat or the cold that will settle in during the winter months. Tourists should note, however, that October can sometimes bring occasional rain showers, so it is advisable to check the weather forecast and prepare accordingly when planning your visit.
