Getting to Solomon's Pools

From Jerusalem by Public Transportation:

  1. Take a bus or a shared taxi (sherut) from Damascus Gate to Bethlehem. The most common buses are the 21 or 231, which go to the Bab el-Zqaq junction in Bethlehem.
  2. From Bab el-Zqaq, you can hire a local taxi to take you directly to Solomon's Pools. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The journey should take about 15 minutes.

By Car:

  1. Drive from Jerusalem via the Hebron Road (Route 60).
  2. Turn west towards the Artas village just south of Bethlehem.
  3. Follow the signs directing towards Solomon's Pools.
