Best Time to Visit Tarkarli, Maharashtra, India

The ideal time to visit Tarkarli, renowned for its pristine beaches and clear turquoise waters, is during the winter season that stretches from November to February. During this period, the weather is pleasantly cool and comfortable with minimal rainfall, making it perfect for beach activities and sightseeing. The daytime temperatures hover around a comfortable 25°C to 33°C, providing a conducive environment for indulging in water sports like scuba diving, snorkeling, and boating. This is also the best season to spot dolphins and take part in the famous Tarkarli Beach Festival.

Another good time to visit Tarkarli is during the early summer from March to April. Although the temperatures begin to rise, ranging between 27°C and 34°C, this is still a good time for tourists looking to avoid the peak season crowds. During these months, you can still engage in all the water-related activities and explore nearby attractions. However, tourists are advised to avoid the monsoon season from June to September due to heavy rains which can lead to travel disruptions and restrict outdoor activities, including water sports.
