Triveni Sangam, located near Somnath in the state of Gujarat, India, is a sacred confluence of three rivers – Hiran, Kapila, and a mystical river Saraswati. According to Hindu tradition, the confluence of these rivers makes the Sangam a powerful pilgrimage spot, revered for holy rituals and religious significance. The Triveni Ghat here is believed to be the same place where Lord Krishna ended His leela and left for the heavenly abode. The confluence is also associated with the immersion of the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi, further elevating its national importance. The riverbanks host numerous temples and ghats where devotees perform ceremonies, rituals, and take purifying dips, especially during auspicious days. The tranquil environment and the sound of bells and chants make it a serene experience. It is a site that combines immense spiritual gravity with the natural beauty of the river's waters flowing together.
