TTD Gardens, spread over 460 acres, play a crucial role in the beautification and environmental balance of the Tirupati Temple premises in Andhra Pradesh, India. These gardens are maintained by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which administers the operations of the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple and its surroundings. The garden's history dates back to the year 1530 when it was established to provide flowers for daily rituals at the temple. With a variety of flora, including many rare flowers and ornamental plants, the gardens are not just a source of ingredients for worship but also a serene retreat for pilgrims and tourists. The extensive lawns, flower beds, and topiary work contribute to the spiritual ambiance of Tirupati. The TTD Gardens also include nurseries and hydroponic farms where flowers and vegetables are grown for use in the temple's kitchen. Annually, these gardens attract numerous visitors who come to marvel at the intricate landscaping, vibrant blooms, and the peaceful environment they offer.
