Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok
Arrival at NJP and transfer to Gangtok. Check in to the hotel. Evening free for own or you can stroll around M.G.Marg or the local Market – Dinner & Overnight stay at Gangtok
Day 2: Excursion to, Changu / Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir
Early morning breakfast – Permits are made one day prior to visit - This is nearly 48 kilometers drive and takes nearly 2 hours - Visit to Tsomgo / Changu Lake, cool, serene water and the picturesque beauty – Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lake of the region - A temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside - Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place . Back to hotel – The rest of the day is free - Evening one is free to stroll around M G Road or the Local Market – Dinner & Overnight stay at Gangtok
Day 3: Gangtok – Lachen
Pick-up from hotel at Gangtok at about 09 a.m. proceed to Lachen (130 Kms / 06 hrs) at an altitude of 9000 ft. On the way stop and enjoy a few wonderful locations like Tashi View Point, KabiLungstok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of Lachen-Chu and Lachung- Chu at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls and BhimNala Waterfalls. Lunch will be served at Namok. You are likely to reach Lachen at late afternoon / in the evening and check in hotel.
Day 4: Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung
Morning Excursion to Gurudomgar Lake (13000 ft / 70 kms / 03 hrs). After lunch transfer to Lachung. Reach at Gangtok. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Lachung - Yumthang – Gangtok
After breakfast full day excursion to Yumthang Valley & Hot Spring (11800 ft / 1½ Hrs way). Back to Lachung. After lunch, transfer to Gangtok (124 kms / 06 hrs). Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Morning breakfast - After breakfast drive for the city tour of Gangtok – Sightseeing will be for full day hence the drive will be bit fast from each point – It is not possible to visit all the places hence some of the important places are selected for the guest – Guest are require to maintain the time with the driver - Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Tashi View point are some more places of tourist interest – Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center or visit any of the discotheque in central Gangtok – Dinner & Over Night stay at Gangtok
Day 7: Gangtok - Depart Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to New jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport. Depart by train/flight with Sweet Himalayan memory………….
