Get the blessings from Goddess Mother Asta Lakshmi!
This temple is located near Besant Nagar Beach. It can be reached by bus,Auto,Car. Goddess Asta Lakshmi in eight forms blessing devotees here. Eight Forms of Lakshmi (Adi Lakshmi, Dhana Lakshmi, Dhanya Lakshmi, Gaja Lakshmi, Santana Lakshmi, Dhairya Lakshmi, Vijaya Lakshmi, Vidya Lakshmi)are present in four levels in nine separate sanctum. It was constructed on the wishes of Kanchi Maha Periyavar. Temple has Dasthavatara of Vishnu, Pillaiyar, Guruvayoorappan, Anjaneya, Dhanvanthari deities. Temple is clean peaceful well maintained.

Good place to worship
8 Goddess temple is a good place to worship. Temple need to be maintained well so that people can worship in the decades to come.

Beautiful temple
The temple location is beautiful and the weather was so pleasant when I visited the temple, but the temple needs thorough maintenance.

money minded priests
the temple is located in a very picturesque place, alone the beach. the layout of different Lakshmi sanctums are kind of one above the other. never seen such a temple architecture. the priest were just money minded. they expect a big tip & till they get it, they are pestering us. very irritating behavior. due to that, lost the purpose of visit.
