Best Time to Visit Bhalu Gaad Waterfall in Mukteshwar

The Bhalu Gaad Waterfall is a hidden gem located near Mukteshwar in Uttarakhand, India. The best time to visit this natural attraction is during the post-monsoon season, which stretches from late September to early December. During this period, the monsoon rains have filled the waterfall to its brimming beauty, and the surrounding forests are lush and verdant. The weather is usually pleasant with minimal rainfall, making it perfect for trekking and enjoying the scenic views. The water is clean and refreshing, and there's a high chance of spotting a rainbow near the waterfall on sunny days due to the mist.

Visitors may also consider the summer months from April to June for cooler temperatures in comparison to the plains. However, during summer the water flow might be less compared to the months following the monsoons. Regardless of the season, it's recommended to start the day early when heading to Bhalu Gaad Waterfalls to avoid the midday sun and to ensure there's enough time to enjoy the destination fully. Tourists should always check the weather and local conditions before planning their hike, as the trails can be slippery and dangerous, especially in the monsoon season.
