Best Time To Visit Bhushi Dam (Khandala) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Bhushi Dam, Khandala

The most opportune time to visit Bhushi Dam in Khandala is during the monsoon season, which spans from June to September. During these months, the region receives a generous amount of rainfall that replenishes the dam and the surrounding water bodies, rendering the landscape lush and verdant. The overflowing dam creates picturesque scenes that attract numerous tourists and photography enthusiasts. However, it is important to note that heavy rains could potentially lead to restrictions for safety reasons, hence it's advisable to check the weather forecast and local news before planning your trip.

Monsoons aside, the post-monsoon period of October to November is also favorable for those who wish to enjoy the dam without the heavy rain. The weather is pleasant with less humidity, and the retreating monsoon leaves behind a bounty of flourishing greenery and water levels in the dam that are still high. It is during this time the dam and its surroundings are teeming with activities as tourists enjoy picnics, hikes, and sightseeing in comfortable weather conditions. Avoid visiting during peak summer months, as the high temperatures result in drier conditions and lower water levels, reducing the dam's appeal and the area's natural beauty.
