The Cactus Garden at the Statue of Unity is situated at Kevadia in the state of Gujarat, India. This unique garden is part of the larger Statue of Unity tourist complex, built around the world's tallest statue â€“ the Statue of Unity, which stands at a towering height of 182 meters, commemorating the Indian statesman and independence activist, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Cactus Garden itself is home to a wide variety of cacti and succulents, boasting a collection of more than 500 different species. The design and landscaping of the garden offer visitors a rich combination of aesthetic pleasure and botanical significance. It is stretched over a large area and displays a range of cacti from around the world, some of which are rare and endangered. The garden aims to educate visitors about the conservation of these tough yet vulnerable species and also serves as a center for research and excellence in the field of cactology.

Wonderful experience at Kevadia

Wonderful place. Statue of Unity, Laser show, Jungle safari, Aushadh manav, and Jherwani water falls worth watching. It needs two days stay. You can stay any hotel near parking place of Bharat Bhawan

if u love the cactus, must to viist, only after seeing the gardem you will come to know - how many types plants, how u can grow and there befits.

Can be missed

Wide variety of cacti plants have been placed indoors & outdoors. It would be of interest to plant lovers only. They also have a store selling some plant fertilizers & such items.

Different

I have never seen cactus in so many shapes and different combinations. It is a different experience and enjoyed it.

Cactus is colourful!

One can visit cactus garden/butterfly garden in own vehicle too. It is quite far off from the Statue complex. Buses, autos are also available. Very beautiful collection of variety of cactii. There is ..
