Chandragiri Hills is a prominent hilltop destination located on the southwestern side of Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, standing at an elevation of around 2,551 meters above sea level. The hills are accessible via a scenic cable car ride, which is one of the longest in Asia. The top of the hill features the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, which holds religious significance and is a site for pilgrimage. The area around the hills remains steeped in historical narratives, including stories that link it to the unification of Nepal by King Prithvi Narayan Shah. Chandragiri is not just a tourist spot but a blend of cultural, historical, and natural beauty.
