Char Dham, also known as Sidheshwar Dham, located in Namchi, Sikkim, is a prestigious and spiritual cultural complex. Spread over a hilly terrain with an awe-inspiring backdrop of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga range, it is a representation of the four most sacred pilgrimages of India – Badrinath, Dwarka, Jagannath Puri, and Rameswaram, which are collectively referred to as the Char Dham. This unique pilgrimage center was established to promote Religious Tourism in Sikkim. The main temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, with a colossal 108 feet tall statue towering over the complex. Additionally, the complex houses replicas of the twelve Jyotirlingas, to offer pilgrims a comprehensive spiritual experience. The site also includes a colossal Nandi bull statue, Sai Baba Temple, Kirat Dwar (Kirat Temple), and a large prayer hall. The intricately designed architecture, panoramic vista, and serene environment make it a popular destination for both devotion and sightseeing.
