Samdruptse Hill, located near Namchi in South Sikkim, India, is famed for the spectacular statue of Guru Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, who is venerated as the patron saint of Sikkim. Atop the Samdruptse hill, which translates to 'Wish Fulfilling Hill', the magnificent statue stands at a striking height of 45 meters, making it one of the tallest statues of its kind in the world. It was consecrated by the Dalai Lama and has since been a beacon of spiritual significance and pilgrimage.
