Temi Tea Garden Tourism

Temi Tea Garden, located in Namchi, South Sikkim district of Sikkim, India, is the only tea garden in Sikkim and considered one of the best in India. Spread across 440 acres, it was established in 1969 by the Government of Sikkim. The garden sits on the hill slopes originating from the Tendong Hill and offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding areas. Organic practices are employed to cultivate the tea, which is famed for its exotic taste and aroma. The lush green plantation against the backdrop of the Himalayan mountains creates a breathtaking spectacle that attracts tourists from all corners of the world. A visit includes a walk through the tea bushes, watching the plucking process, and understanding the tea production at the factory. A tea-tasting session often complements the experience.
