Commercial Street - One of the Best Street shopping in Bangalore
The commercial Street in Sivaji nagar is one of the best places for street shopping in Banglore. Especially for women. A large category of Clothing, accessories, jewellery, Footwear were available for a reasonable price. Particularly I would recommend buying Footwear and Jeans there.

Check out the smaller lanes for local street side shopping
The smaller lanes branching off Commercial Street is where the hustle and bustle happens. I was on 'Ibrahim Sahib Street' - here you share a small road with other shoppers and very slow moving vehicles of all kinds trying to pass through on the same road. If you are travelling in a group you may end up unintentionally splitting up - so take this into account for your planning. Street side stalls selling basic kurtis at 200-250 INR. Overall a great experience (by my yardstick). I had fun shopping like a local - despite being obviously a foreigner, I did not experience overcharging and I paid local prices (which are mostly advertised and fixed price anyway).

Shopping place
Shopping destination in Bangalore for both branded and street side shopping. Be prepared to walk as finding parking spaces will be cumbersome

Commercial Street
Fun place for both street shopping and branded shops. Lot of option for women, especially in ethnic wear. It is similar to Lajpat Nagar Market in New Delhi. There are also other attractions nearby which can be clubbed together ( cubbon park etc)

Shopping
If you are a shopper this is the place for you. The variety is indescribable and vast. Service in shops like Mysore Saris and Aarha latter for shalwar sand fabric was excellent. The patience of pulling out dozens of fabric to show clients is I think only found in India. Be prepared to walk though. Myriads if streets criss crossing offering Jewellery shoes sandals bags and very good food as well. Marvelous experience
