The Vidhana Soudha, located in Bangalore (Bengaluru), Karnataka, is a magnificent building that stands as a symbol of legislative authority and architectural excellence. Completed in 1956, it was conceived by the then Chief Minister of Karnataka, Kengal Hanumanthaiah, as a tribute to Indian temple architecture. Utilizing granite, the structure spans over 60 acres and boasts a blend of Dravidian, European and Indo-Saracenic styles. The central dome, based on the lines of the Roman Pantheon, adds to its grandeur. The eastern face has a porch with 12 granite columns, 40 feet tall. Words 'Government's Work is God's Work' are inscribed on the front. Huge Government Office
The size of the building is amazingly big. Nice lawn and statues. Posed for pictures here. It is opposite the Metro and close to Cubbon Park so a visit should be quite pleasant.

Largest Legislative Building
Largest legislative building in India, built with granite in Neo Dravidian Style. Keeping the tradition of Mysore State was very spacious and unique.
