Gandhi Hill is the first Gandhi Memorial with seven stupas in the country, located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. Standing at a height of 500 feet on a hill, it is named after Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Indian nation. The memorial, inaugurated in 1968, commemorates Gandhi's efforts and his visit to Vijayawada. At the foothill, there's a Gandhi Memorial Library, a Sound and Light Show, and a planetarium that attracts many visitors. The hill offers panoramic views of Vijayawada and the meandering Krishna River. Visitors can either trek up the hill or take the toy train that operates at the site. The tranquility and peaceful setting make this an ideal spot for those looking to reflect on Gandhi's life and teachings. The Gandhi Stupas, built by the followers and admirers of Mahatma Gandhi, add to the spiritual and serene ambiance of this place.
