Hinkar Thirtha, also known as Mangalagiri Jain Temple, is a revered Jain temple located in Mangalagiri of Vijayawada, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Constructed in the white marble, this temple stands out with its stunning architecture and presents a blend of modern and traditional Jain artistic styles. It spreads out over a vast area and is one of the largest Jain temples in the region. Hinkar Thirtha serves as a significant center of worship and pilgrimage for the Jain community. Devotees come to this temple to pay homage to the main deity, Lord Parshvanatha, the 23rd Tirthankara of Jainism. The serene and clean environment of the temple premises offers a spiritual retreat away from the city's hustle. Surrounded by small hills and lush greenery, visitors also enjoy the calm and picturesque settings. The Hinkar Tirtha is a Jain temple, which is based on the main highway out of Vijaywada. The place is clean and peaceful and is beautifully built, especially the carvings.
