Gulmarg Golf Course, located in the beautiful valley of Gulmarg in Baramula District of Jammu and Kashmir, India, is one of the oldest golf courses in India and the highest green golf course in the world at an altitude of 2,650 meters above sea level. It covers an expanse of 7505 yards and is a par 72, 18-hole course. Set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Pir Panjal range, the course was redesigned by Ranjit Nanda, a renowned golf architect, and is managed by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation. Owing to its enchanting natural surroundings, this golf course is not just a venue for sports but also a tourist attraction, offering a blend of leisure and scenic beauty. Experiencing golfing here is unique due to thin air, which means the ball travels farther than it would at lower altitudes.

Golf course

Gulmarg golf course 18 hole which is covered with snow during winters. We went to the area in March, and winter adventure sports being conducted here. It has a nice slope and hence sledge is also used..
