Best Time to Visit Khandala

Located in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India, Khandala is a picturesque hill station known for its lush greenery, misty hills, and pleasant climate. The best time to visit Khandala is during the monsoon season, which runs from June to September. During this time, the scenery of Khandala is at its most vibrant, with waterfalls gushing and the verdant landscape punctuated by numerous water bodies. The cool and misty weather provides a refreshing escape from the hot and humid climate of the plains. Sightseeing and trekking are particularly enjoyable when the peaks and valleys are shrouded in a lush green canopy.

Another good time to visit is in the winter months, from October to February, when the climate becomes more comfortable with cooler temperatures. The weather is perfect for exploring the outdoors without the heavy rainfall, and the skies are usually clear offering great views of the surrounding hills. It's an ideal time for tourists who want to engage in outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, and exploring the nearby forts. However, one should note that nights can be quite chilly, so carrying warm clothing is advisable. Avoid visiting during the summer because the heat can be quite oppressive in the region, and the experience may not be as pleasant.
