Khitauli Zone is one of the core areas of Bandhavgarh National Park, located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh, India. The park is renowned for its high density of Royal Bengal tigers and is also home to various other wildlife species such as leopards, Indian bison, and numerous species of deer and birds. The zone offers rich biodiversity, dense forests, and grasslands which provide an authentic wilderness experience. Khitauli Zone is relatively quieter and less crowded, making it a preferred spot for wildlife enthusiasts who are interested in a serene safari experience. The terrain is a mix of flatlands and hilly regions, with the Bandhavgarh Fort towering over the park. Khitauli is known for its beautiful sunset points and it provides excellent opportunities for photography. Unlike other zones which are popular for tiger sightings, Khitauli offers a more holistic view of the jungle’s ecosystem, with sightings of various other fauna and expansive landscapes.
