Chakradhara Meadow is a sprawling grassland situated in the heart of Bandhavgarh National Park, Madhya Pradesh, India. The park itself is renowned for having the highest density of Bengal tigers in the world, and Chakradhara Meadow is one of the prime areas within the park where these majestic animals can be spotted. The meadow gets its name from a historical tale concerning Lord Vishnu and the place’s past association with Chakradhara, a natural spring. Today, it serves as an important location for wildlife sightings because it acts as a convergence point for animals in search of water and food. Apart from tigers, the meadow is frequented by other fauna such as leopards, Indian bison, various species of deer, and an abundance of birdlife. Characterized by its thick, tall grasses and framed by lush Sal and Bamboo forests, this picturesque meadow also presents ideal opportunities for photography and wildlife enthusiasts who come to experience the allure of the wild in its most pristine form.
