Krishnasar Lake, nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas in Sonmarg, Kashmir, boasts an idyllic setting for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. The best time to plan a visit to this serene lake is from late May to early October. During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm with temperatures ranging between 15°C to 30°C, making it ideal for sightseeing and engaging in outdoor activities like trekking and fishing. The lake, known for its crystal-clear waters and the surrounding lush meadows, is fully accessible and the beauty of the alpine scenery is at its peak. The summer months, especially between June and August, are when Sonmarg receives the maximum number of tourists due to the favorable weather conditions and the melting snow making the meadows and landscapes exceptionally vibrant.
