Kuber Temple is one of the ancient Hindu temples situated in the Jageshwar temple complex, in the Almora district of Uttarakhand, India. This complex, nestled amidst the dense Deodar forests, comprises a group of over 100 stone temples dating from the 7th to the 14th century. Kuber Temple stands out with its unique architecture and is dedicated to the Hindu God of wealth, Kuber. It is situated at Jageshwar Valley enshrined by the Jataganga river, making the ambiance serene and spiritually charged. The temple is crafted in the traditional Nagara style and is accompanied by other shrines devoted to various deities including Shiva. Many of these temples hold significant archaeological importance, and collectively, they are designated as a 'Monument of National Importance.' The lush green forest cover and the gently flowing stream contribute to the tranquility, making it an epitome of peace and spirituality.
