How to Reach Kudan Stupa, Lumbini, Nepal

Kudan Stupa, also known as Kudan Monastery, is located just a few kilometers southwest of Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. To reach Kudan Stupa, visitors will generally first travel to Lumbini and then make their way to the site.

By Air: The closest airport to Lumbini is Gautam Buddha Airport, which is situated in Siddharthanagar (Bhairahawa). There are regular flights from Kathmandu to this airport. From here, you can hire a taxi or take local transportation to reach Lumbini, which is around 22 km away.
