Landruk, located in the Annapurna Conservation Area, is a serene village in the Pokhara region of Nepal, known for its stunning landscapes and as a popular stop for trekkers. Surrounded by the majestic Himalayas, visitors to Landruk can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and experience traditional Nepalese village life. It is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,565 meters and offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna South and Hiunchuli mountains. The village is part of the famous Annapurna Base Camp trekking route and thus serves as an important resting point for trekkers. Landruk is accessible via a beautiful trail from Dhampus through forests and terraced fields. The local community is predominantly of the Gurung ethnic group, which is known for its rich culture and warm hospitality. Traditional houses made of stone and wood dot the landscape. Landruk also provides an opportunity for visitors to engage in agriculture tourism, with terraces growing millet, maize, and other crops.
