The Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, located in Pokhara, Nepal, is revered as a sacred site for Hindus. Found just opposite the Davis Falls on the Siddhartha Highway, the cave is home to a symbolic Shiva Lingam, a representation of the Hindu deity Lord Shiva. Tourists and pilgrims alike are drawn to the cave for both its religious significance and its stunning natural formations. The cave's entrance is almost hidden, enhancing the sense of discovery for those who visit. Inside, the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave splits into two sections. The first part is adorned with an array of stalactites and stalagmites. Devotees have been visiting for centuries, lighting candles and incense, creating a mystical atmosphere. A spiral staircase leads to the second section, which has a viewpoint for the thunderous waters coming from the Pardi Khola stream, merging into the cave. The cave is quite deep, extending nearly 3 kilometers, and various chambers can be explored to a certain extent. The natural acoustic created by the dripping water adds to the cave's spiritual ambiance.
Natural cave under the ground, many floors.
Pure bliss to have visited such divine place. Very good experience, must visit site once in Pokhara.

Nothing interesting
There was nothing interesting here. It was a cave that was dark, dank and wet. There was more confusion by the tourists trying to get out than anything worth noting.

Nice and beautiful spiral steps of about 200 to reach Gupteswar Mhadev, a descent Shivlinga of about six and half feet tall inside the interesting cave where water continuously dropping from the roof..
We visited this place during the Aarti time in the evening. The temple was resounding with the chants of
Om Namah Shivaya ????
The gufa had about 450 steps to go down to the caves.
Nearby there is T..
Good place to visit and know the ancient culture. Explore the caves and see water seeping inside the caves. Good to take pics there. Place for worship too. The place is being maintained.
