Mahendra Cave is located in Pokhara, the second-largest city in Nepal, known for its natural beauty and proximity to the Annapurna mountain range. The cave is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region, named after the late King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. It is a natural limestone cave that is notable for its stalactites and stalagmites, which create an enchanting atmosphere inside. The cave's interior is dark and damp, with a small path that allows visitors to explore the subterranean landscape. Artificial lighting is installed to enhance the visibility of the rock formations. The cave also houses a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, a major deity in Hinduism. Visitors can witness the natural wonder of the cave's geological formations and may spot bats that inhabit the darker corners of the cave. The cave is accessible by local transportation and can be visited throughout the year, but the experience might differ during the monsoon season due to increased water levels inside the cave.

It is a simple cave which is very well maintained at the entrance. It feels very cold when inside this cave. The entire walk inside the cave will not take much time (5-10 mins)

Don’t bother if you’ve been to a cave of any description before.
So many people all trying to access a single route that leads deep into a cave with very little to see at the end of the walk. A waste of time

Waste of Time & Money
Even if you have never seen a cave before, this is still a waste of 150npr & a taxi fare.
Just boring, nothing to see, maybe only popular to locals who have a small shrine at the back of the cave.
