Malampuzha Garden and Dam is a popular tourist spot located in the Palakkad district of Kerala, India. The garden is set at the base of the Western Ghats, and the dam is built across the Malampuzha River, a tributary of Bharathapuzha, Kerala's second-longest river. Spanning an area of around 355 hectares, the garden is lush with green lawns adorned with flowerbeds, fountains, and sculptures, including the famous Yakshi (an enchantress) sculpture created by the renowned artist Kanayi Kunhiraman. The dam, constructed in 1955, is the largest reservoir in Kerala. Visitors can enjoy a variety of attractions such as a rock garden, rope way, a fresh-water aquarium, a snake park, and a children's park. A well-maintained swimming pool and facilities for boating on the dam's reservoir add to the recreational options available.
