Not to be in travel priority
This is। a dam built near zone 10 of RTR । Not far from the main road , Not a good place to add to travel list , it's just a water reservoir with lack of any other necessity। Yes in rain season this place gets more footfall as locals visits this place to hangout and picnic ।। Not recommended to travel in late evening ,,not with families ,The main gate used to remain close and the side roads are muddy and non existing. This dam used to picnic spot about 15 years back but nothing now

Good spot for birders
If you are a birder and nature lover and not satisfied with time spent on birding during visit to Ranthambore National Park then you can include this place and Surwal Lake in your itinerary. This is a dam and a lake located about 15 km from sawaimadhopur, on Sawai Madhopur Palighat or Khandar route so it can be very well covered if you are planning a visit to Rameshwar Ghat, Khandar or Palighat (Chambal National Park). The place does not attract usual tourists so there are no facilities available (no food stalls/water/toilet). To locate the road leading to this dam you will have to be attentive. Look for a turn on your left after crossing Bodal village (about 2 km or so). You need a pair of binoculars and preferably a spotting scope to identify birds. The area is included in National Park itself. You get good view of Mor Doongari from here which is part of Ranthambore hills. You can watch thick-knee, other waders, occasional snipe, may be a flock of pelicans, ducks and pochards, osprey, herons, egrets, etc.
