Best Time To Visit Ramkund (Nashik) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Ramkund, Nashik

The best time to visit Ramkund in Nashik, which is renowned for its religious importance and scenic beauty, is during the winter months, from October to March. During this season, the weather is pleasantly cool with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 30°C. The mild climate makes it comfortable for visitors to explore the sacred ghats and participate in holy dips, without the scorching heat that is common in the summer months. Additionally, the water levels in the Godavari river are usually stable after the monsoon, making it safer and more serene for religious activities and sightseeing.

During the winter season, the city also celebrates various festivals such as Makar Sankranti in January and Maha Shivaratri in February or March, depending on the lunar calendar. This period sees a large influx of pilgrims and tourists, adding to the vibrant and spiritual atmosphere of Ramkund. However, if you are looking to avoid the crowds, it is advisable to plan your visit in the early winter months of October or November, when the festive rush is relatively less, and the experience can be more peaceful and personal.
