Sula Vineyards is one of India's most popular wineries located in the Nashik region of Maharashtra, fondly known as the Wine Capital of India. Established in 1999 by Rajeev Samant, it has significantly influenced the development of Nashik as a wine-tourism destination. Spread over about 160 acres, Sula Vineyards is not just about wine production; it also provides an educational and recreational experience. It offers visitors a splendid opportunity to understand the wine-making process through guided tours which typically end with a wine tasting session. The vineyard overlooks a breathtaking expanse of rolling hills and the Gangapur Dam, offering picturesque views that add to the serene ambiance. Adding to this are the lush green surroundings that make for a relaxing experience. Additionally, Sula Vineyards hosts an annual music festival called 'SulaFest', which is very popular among tourists. The winery also features two restaurants, a tasting room, and a boutique resort, making it an excellent spot for a leisurely getaway.
