If You Are Coming From Within Dhaka:

  • Bus: Dhaka city has an extensive network of buses. Buses to Sadarghat run regularly from most areas of the city. Look for buses labeled with "Sadarghat" to get there directly.
  • Rickshaw or Auto-rickshaw (CNG): You can easily hire a rickshaw (cycle rickshaw) or an auto-rickshaw (CNG) from anywhere in Dhaka to reach Sadarghat. For longer distances, auto-rickshaws are preferable.
  • Private Car or Taxi: Hiring a private car or taxi is a more comfortable option, especially if you're new to the city and prefer not to navigate the busy public transport. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey or insist on the use of a meter.

If You Are Coming From Outside Dhaka:

  • By Air: If you are flying into Dhaka, you will land at Shahjalal International Airport. From the airport, you can take a taxi or CNG auto-rickshaw to reach Sadarghat. The journey may take between 1 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
  • By Train: If you’re coming by train, you’ll arrive at Dhaka's main railway station, Kamalapur. From there, you can take a bus, rickshaw, or taxi to Sadarghat.
  • By Bus: Dhaka has several long-distance bus terminals. Buses from all over the country come to terminals such as Sayedabad, Gabtali or Mohakhali. From these terminals, you can find local buses or other transport to Sadarghat.

  • Traveling early in the morning or late evening can help you avoid peak traffic hours.
