  Nice Temple with Samadhi

  Jatia Baba Samadhi Mandir is historical place. I don't have much knowledge but this is peaceful and religious place.

  My favorite ashram

  This ashram was built around the samadhi of Bijoy Krishna Goswami, who lived at Puri in the last phase of his life, i.e from March 1898 to June 1899. Bijoy Krishna Goswami was a highly evolved spiritual person, who attained the same level of spiritual development as Ramakrishna Paramahansa. He was an active member of Brahmo Samaj and a close associate of Keshav Chandra Sen. He later broke up with Sen and founded the Sadharan Brahmo Samaj with other leaders. His spiritual quest led him to wander all over India. He obtained Deeksha from his Guru whom he called Paramahansa Ji in a very mysterious manner at Akash Ganga hill, Gaya. The Ashram is extremely spritual, calm and serene. Granth Sahib is read in the ashram apart from Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita and Bhagavat puran every morning. Mahabharat is read in the afternoon. There is aratifollowed by Keertan every evening. Prasad is available in the morning, midday and night.

  This is a Samadhi place of Jatia Baba. Very nicely maintained and very huge. Great place to find some peace

  This is the Samadhi Mandir of Jatia Baba/ Bijoy Krishna Goswami

  Bijoy Krishna Goswami (1841-1899) was a religious figure and social reformer. He learned and practiced many ways of asceticism - from Advaita to Dwaita and was in close touch with prominent religious figures of his time - For example, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Trailongaswamy, Lahiri Mahasaya etc. In 1899 he was said to have died due to prolonged illness after eating sweetmeat that was poisoned by a faction of monks that were envious of his fame and popularity. This is the place that is his samadhi. Very peaceful place, ideal for meditation and contemplation. A curious natural element is - Bakul tree branches lie and growth on earth
