Best Time To Visit Tadiandamol Peak (Coorg) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Tadiandamol Peak

The best time to visit Tadiandamol Peak, which is one of the highest peaks in Coorg, Karnataka, is from October to February. During these months, the weather is pleasantly cool and is most conducive for trekking and outdoor activities. The monsoon season, which typically lasts from June to September, brings heavy rainfall, making the trails slippery and risky for trekkers. Post-monsoon, the landscape is rejuvenated, the streams are full, and the entire area is lush green, providing spectacular views for nature enthusiasts. Temperatures during the ideal visitation period range from 12°C to 25°C, thus ensuring a comfortable trekking experience.

Additionally, the winter months also boast of clear skies, which means uninterrupted views of the breathtaking Western Ghats. You'll find the sunrise and sunset views from the peak are especially remarkable during this season. It's important to note that nights can be quite cold, so if you plan to camp, ensure you carry adequate warm clothing. Avoid planning your trek during the peak of summer (March to May) as the temperatures can rise significantly, causing discomfort during the hike. Regardless of the season, always check local weather conditions and advisories before embarking on the trek to Tadiandamol Peak.
