Tali Temple, located in the heart of Kozhikode city in Kerala, India, is one of the oldest temples in the state. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple showcases the exquisite architectural style of the erstwhile Zamorin rulers, who patronized the temple. The structure is noted for its intricate wood carvings, brass-work, and sculptures that adorn the walls and pillars. The temple complex, surrounded by a high wall and a pond, offers a serene atmosphere for worship. Tali Temple is famous for the annual 'Revathi Pattathanam,' a cultural and intellectual event that attracts scholars from all over the country. The interior of the temple is quite elaborative, with a 'sanctum sanctorum' housing the main deity, Lord Shiva. Traditional rituals and offerings are made here daily amidst chanting of mantras, providing a spiritual experience for devotees and visitors. Over the years, Tali Temple has become not just a religious center but also a cultural hub reflecting the historic legacy and religious artistry of Kerala.
