Mananchira Square Tourism

Mananchira Square is a popular urban park located at the heart of Kozhikode, in the state of Kerala, India. Named after the picturesque Mananchira tank which it surrounds, it is a well-known historical spot that was once the courtyard of the Zamorins, the rulers of the Kozhikode Kingdom. Spanning over an area that's been meticulously maintained with lush green lawns, traditional Kerala style architecture, and a musical fountain, the square has an idyllic charm. The historic Mishkal Mosque, which was famously spared by Zamorin during a Hindu raid, is situated nearby, adding to the cultural significance of the area.
