Thusharagiri Waterfalls is a picturesque destination located in the Western Ghats of Kozhikode district in Kerala, India. The name 'Thusharagiri' signifies 'snow-capped mountains', and the waterfalls live up to this imagery with frothy water cascading down the mountain peaks. Nestled amidst lush green forests, this place is an amalgamation of three prominent waterfalls creating a majestic view. The water originates from the Chalippuzha River, dividing into three waterfalls – Erattumukku, Mazhavil Chattam, and Thumbithullum Para – collectively known as Thusharagiri Waterfalls. This spot is renowned for its scenic beauty, and it provides a tranquil atmosphere for visitors. Apart from enjoying the views, tourists can also engage in trekking and rock climbing. The trek to the heart of the waterfall offers a close encounter with the diverse flora and fauna of the region. This waterfall is also part of a larger trekking trail to Vythiri in Wayanad.
